The school was established as the teaching-practice school of the ABU Faculty of Education. That relationship still shapes the timetable: student teachers observe, subject specialists supervise, and our science students sit practicals in university labs.
Taught under supervision
As the teaching-practice school of the ABU Faculty of Education, our classrooms are observed by subject specialists week in, week out.
University laboratories
Science students sit their practicals in the university's own laboratories, not a scaled-down school substitute.
Day and boarding places
Both campuses offer day and boarding places across JSS1 to SSS3, with houses that compete through the school year.
